ENTERCOM Active Rock WAAF/BOSTON announced today ROB STEVENS has been named Producer to the long-running HILL-MAN MORNING SHOW. STEVENS was most recently a morning co-host of THE SHOW on KIOZ/SAN DIEGO where he worked for over 10 years. STEVENS will join radio veterans GREG "The Hill-Man" HILL, LYNDON “LB” BYERS and DANIELLE MURR in mornings on WAAF.
STEVENS replaces longtime WAAF morning show producer ANTHONY "SPAZ" PARZIALE who resigned in DECEMBER after 13 years to start his own company.
WAAF PD RON VALERI said, "ROB is uniquely qualified to round out our cast of colorful characters during the morning commute. He's a triple-threat who brings a combination of organizational and technical talents required behind the scenes, along with the showmanship skills needed to entertain in front of the microphone."
STEVENS is a MASSACHUSETTS native who began his radio career at WAAF, where he started as a member of the WAAF Street Team in 2004. STEVENS said, "For a guy born and bred in MASSACHUSETTS, returning to 'AAF to work on the show I listened to growing up is a dream come true. I love this city so much I got it tattooed on my neck."
GREG HILL said, "It's great to be able to hire someone who grew up listening to our show even though it will be a daily reminder of how old I am."
