DJ Beestroh Arrested, Injured In Shooting

RADIO ONE/ATLANTA disc jockey DJ BEESTROH (real name: RONALD ROBINSON) was arrested by DEKALB COUNTY, GA police for aggravated assault, following a shootout with officers early Monday outside a popular nightclub, AJC.COM reported. ROBINSON, who was working as a DJ at the club, was injured in the shootout and is in stable condition.

The shooting happened outside the VELVET ROOM club during an album release party SUNDAY night for RICK ROSS and SEAN “DIDDY” COMBS. About 4a, two off-duty officers working at the nightclub heard gunshots in the back of the club. When the officers responded to the gunfire, ROBINSON allegedly turned toward them, firing shots. They returned fire, hitting him in the leg.”

The officers were uninjured.
