In an era where industry pundits believe radio is losing its average quarter-hours to other media platforms, data uncovered in the JACOBS MEDIA TECHSURVEY 10 -- which will be unveiled at the WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT 2014 in the HOLLYWOOD ROOSEVELT HOTEL on APRIL 2nd-4th -- found that one format may actually be gaining TSL.
"Broadcast radio’s best momentum is among fans of the Rhythmic Top 40 formats," JACOBS MEDIA Pres. PAUL JACOBS said. "One-third (34%) of the hit-focused listeners say they’re listening to more radio compared to a year ago than any other format group."
Exclusive details on listener habits in practically all the radio formats will be unveiled from TECHSURVEY 10, the largest radio survey of all major formats, including the results of their listeners’ habits concerning preferences in broadcast, digital and device. Pressing questions that will be answered include: What are listeners' likes/turn-offs? What makes them interact with radio on social media? What are the rising and falling platforms? And most importantly, what steps does radio need to take to keep a winning edge with listeners?
This will be one of many must-attend events at the WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT 2014, held at the HOLLYWOOD ROOSEVELT HOTEL on APRIL 2nd-4th.
