MMTC BROADCASTING LLC is spinning one of the stations donated to it by CLEAR CHANNEL, Hmong KFXN-A (HMONG RADIO AM 690)/MINNEAPOLIS, to XENG XIONG and KONGSUE XIONG's ASIAN AMERICAN BROADCASTING, LLC for $255,000. The buyers have been operating the station under an LMA since 2011.
In other filings with the FCC, CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY RADIO, INC. is selling FM translator W228CT/DAYTONA BEACH, FL to SOUTHERN STONE COMMUNICATIONS OF FLORIDA, LLC for $18,000. The translator will rebroadcast Talk WNDB-A/DAYTONA BEACH.
CHARLES R. FULLER has closed on the acquisition of his partner FRANCIS DIPIETRO's 50% share of WDNG, INC., licensee of Talk WDNG-A/ANNISTON, AL, for payment of $64,335.52 owed by the station to the IRS. The sale was prompted by DIPIETRO's felony conviction; DIPIETRO's wife MELISSA sold the shares under her power of attorney over her husband's affairs.
WAY MEDIA, INC. has closed on the sale of FM translator W259BT/DYERSBURG, TN to THUNDERBOLT BROADCASTING CO. for $12,000.
FIRST VENTURES CAPITAL PARTNERS, INC. has closed on the sale of FM translator K266BH/SHERIDAN, AR to MICHAEL E. WILKINS' SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS MEDIA for $25,000. The buyer will rebroadcast Country KBOK-A/MALVERN, AR, separately purchased from NOALMARK BROADCASTING CORP. for $35,000, on the translator.
And COLUMBIA GORGE BROADCASTERS, INC. has closed on the assignment of the construction permit for FM translator K237FM/CRATES, OR to BICOASTAL COLUMBIA RIVER LLC and M.S.W. COMMUNICATIONS, L.L.C. has closed on the assignment of FM translator K264BN/COOK, WA as part of a $2.7 million multistation 2007 deal; the paperwork for the translators, valued at $10 each, awaited FCC grant of the construction permits.
