Four members of the House of Representatives and two Senators have signed on as co-sponsors of an NAB-sponsored resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations.
The Local Radio Freedom Act is now currently co-sponsored by a coalition of 202 Members of the House and 14 Senators.
The members adding their support are Reps. BRADLEY BYRNE (AL-1), WILLIAM ENYART (IL-12), DANA ROHRABACHER (CA-48) and KURT SCHRADER (OR-5). Sens. KELLY AYOTTE (R-NH) and RICHARD BURR (R-NC) are the latest Senators to sign on.
