KSL BROADCAST GROUP News-Talk KSL-A-F/SALT LAKE CITY is holding its 38th Annual KSL Radiothon for PRIMARY CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL on THURSDAY (3/13).
PD KEVIN LARUE said, “It means so much for PRIMARY CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL to feel the support of KSL, not just the radio station and the institution but of our staff, individually. The news anchors, talk hosts, reporters, and producers at KSL are personally invested in the success of our friends at the hospital and the life-changing work that they do. They are the real Miracle Makers!”
PRIMARY CHILDREN'S HOSPOTAL Foundation Dir. SHARON GOODRICH said, “For 38 years, KSL and its listeners have helped to continue a tradition of love and concern at PRIMARY CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL through the Radiothon. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve heard a parent say, ‘I thought the hospital was for other families; that is, until my child had to come here.’ We are grateful to those who make contributions through the Radiothon as those gifts have a direct impact on children throughout the Intermountain Area who battle cancer, heart defects, neurological anomalies, and many other illnesses and injuries.”
KSL BROADCAST GROUP VP/Marketing TAMI OSTMARK added, “This amazing facility and group of doctors, nurses and specialists help change and save children’s lives. The Radiothon is our way of not only giving back, but being a voice in the community on their behalf. We are better broadcasters because of this experience.”
