Official: Mike Francesa TV Simulcast Begins On Fox Sports 1/Fox Sports 2 On March 24th

As previously tipped (NET NEWS 2/10), cable's FOX SPORTS 1 and FOX SPORTS 2 will simulcast CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A-F/NEW YORK's THE MIKE FRANCESA SHOW under a multiyear agreement beginning MARCH 24th. FRANCESA, whose show was previously simulcasted on the NEW YORK YANKEES' YES NETWORK before being dropped in favor of rival ESPN Sports WEPN-F (ESPN NEW YORK 98.7 FM) host MICHAEL KAY, will air on FOX SPORTS 1 1-4p (ET) weekdays, then FOX SPORTS 2 will pick up the simulcast for 4-6p.
FOX SPORTS 1/FOX SPORTS 2 GM/COO DAVID NATHANSON said, “We are thrilled to add MIKE FRANCESA to our FOX SPORTS family of channels. MIKE is without question one of the most popular sports personalities in NEW YORK and has maintained a significant national reputation through his syndicated NFL show and his WFAN program, which was previously simulcast on YES. He’s knowledgeable and opinionated with an ability to attract top-name guests who appeal to sports fans everywhere. This is a fantastic addition to FOX SPORTS 1 and FOX SPORTS 2.”
