MUSICIANS ON CALL (MOC) has named PETE GRIFFIN as President of the organization. In his new role, GRIFFIN will lead strategic development, increase fundraising to expand MOC programs to new communities, help strengthen and elevate the MOC brand and work to ensure the patients, partners, volunteers, musicians and supporters all have a first-class experience.
"We're incredibly proud of all that MUSICIANS ON CALL and its amazing staff has accomplished over the past 15 years and are thrilled that after an extensive search, we have found PETE to lead us into the organization's next exciting era," said MOC Founders MICHAEL SOLOMON and VIVEK J. TIWARY.
GRIFFIN adds, "It is an honor and a privilege to be chosen by the Board of Directors to build on MUSICIANS ON CALL's strong foundation and lead the organization into the future. The support for our program is strong nationwide, so our opportunity now is to continue to elevate our brand and strategically plan our growth so we can bring the healing power of our volunteers' music to more patients across the country."
KEN was previously Dir./Strategic Partnerships for IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN VETERANS OF AMERICA. Prior to that, he was Pres./CEO of BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF CENTRAL ARIZONA and also spent nine years with MTV.
