PLANETJAM MEDIA GROUP (PMG) announced today that it is offering some of its products under a new model called "Interactive Barter." PMG is enabling stations to acquire critical marketing services, such as PMG’s TRIBAL DIRECT EMAIL SERVICE, without any payment of cash or precious on-air inventory. Instead, stations can benefit from the same powerful email engine that is used by over 100 leading stations by paying with advertising units contained inside the newsletters stations normally send.
"It’s a difficult time and everyone is under pressure to reduce expenses. As a vendor to radio, we have a vested interest in finding new ways to help this industry reduce expense and preserve on-air inventory. We hope this is perceived as a win/win for stations as they enter the budgeting season," said PMG President/CEO CHRIS BELL. "At this moment, the last thing stations need to do is write checks or give up always precious on-air inventory in exchange for something as basic as an email and database engine".
