Pharrell Happy About New Venture

GRAMMY AWARD winning singer PHARRELL WILLIAMS is expanding his entrepreneurial ways. He is expanding on the marketing of his new "G I R L" album to the world of cosmetics and fragrances.  He is teaming up with JAPANESE Fashion Brand COMME DES GARCONS for a new fragrance called GIRL that will be for both men and women.

PHARRELL told WOMENS WEAR DAILY, "I am honored to be working with COMME DES GARCONS and cherish the education that I have experienced in this collaboration."  The new fragrance is scheduled to hit stores in September.

COMME DES GARCONS PARFUMS CEO ADRIAN JOFFE said, "PHARRELL knew exactly what he wanted the perfume to smell like from the beginning.  It has been an honor to work with such a creative artist with great vision, which for COMME DES GARCONS is the most important thing."
