FOLGER MEDIA Consultant and programming vet JULES RILEY has been named OM for JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP’s five-station cluster, which includes Country KVOO, Classic Country KXBL, Adults Hits KBEZ, Top 40 KHTT and Talk KFAQ-A.
RILEY succeeds BRIAN GANN, who left the company in JANUARY to join CLEAR CHANNEL/SAN ANTONIO (NET NEWS 1/21). It’s a reunion of sorts, as RILEY previously served as PD for the company’s WICHITA cluster until 2001 before taking programming positions in ST. LOUIS, PHILADELPHIA and PHOENIX.
“We are very excited to welcome JULES back to JOURNAL,” said TULSA VP/GM BILL BERRY. “She has a stellar reputation in the industry and extensive experience with multiple formats. I have no doubt that she will do a terrific job as our programming leader.”
Said RILEY, “I am thrilled to rejoin JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP and work with the phenomenal TULSA team. My thanks to BILL BERRY, [JOURNAL VP/Programming] BEVERLEE BRANNIGAN and [EVP/Radio] STEVE WEXLER.”
