JACOBS MEDIA continues to offer tastes of insight its TECHSURVEY 10 has uncovered, leading up to FRED JACOBS' comprehensive presentation at the WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT 2014 at the HOLLYWOOD ROOSEVELT HOTEL on APRIL 3rd at noon. The latest revelation offers good news and less-than-good news when it comes to mobile apps.
"Radio stations continue to have huge opportunities with mobile apps,' JACOBS MEDIA Pres. FRED JACOBS noted. "Of smartphone and tablet owners who use apps, seven in 10 (71%) say they’ve downloaded a radio-centric app." The less-than-good news: "PANDORA is their runaway first choice."
Stay tuned for more insight to come.
That's just the tip of an enormous iceberg of revelations JACOBS will unveil in TECHSURVEY 10, the largest radio survey of all major formats and the results of their listeners’ habits concerning preferences in broadcast, digital, device. Pressing questions that will be answered include: What are listeners' likes/turn-offs? What makes them interact with radio on social media? What are the rising and falling platforms? And most importantly, what steps does radio need to take to keep a winning edge with listeners?
This will be one of many must-attend events at the WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT 2014, held at the HOLLYWOOD ROOSEVELT HOTEL on APRIL 2nd-4th. You can check out the full agenda here. Don't miss it!
