Once again, there wasn't a lot going on in the FCC database THURSDAY, with no new sales filed.
Among the filings that did make it into the database, TRIANGLE SPORTS BROADCASTERS, LLC has filed a belated request for a Silent STA for WDUR-A/DURHAM, NC. The present licensee ended up getting the license in lieu of foreclosing and is planning to sell the station to a buyer yet to be named; in the meantime, lacking equipment and the financial resources to buy any, the station went silent last AUGUST 2nd, but an STA request was not filed because the licensee "was not represented by communications counsel a that time and did not realize that a request for authority for the station to remain silent should have been filed."
And BANGOR BAPTIST CHURCH has closed on the donation of FM translator W291CO/ELLSWORTH, ME to LIGHTHOUSE RADIO NETWORK, INC.
