Public Radio International To Drop Distribution Of 'This American Life'

"THIS AMERICAN LIFE" will no longer be distributed by PUBLIC RADIO INTERNATIONAL after JULY 1st, the syndicator announced TODAY (3/20).  VARIETY reports that IRA GLASS' show, produced by CHICAGO PUBLIC MEDIA News-Talk WBEZ/CHICAGO and distributed by PRI for 17 years, will continue with another distributor.

In a statement from PRI, SVP/Marketing, Sales and Distribution JULIA YAGER said, “During our most recent negotiation, it became clear that our organizations’ expectations regarding our futures were different."
