FISHER COMMUNICATIONS second quarter net revenue rose from $36.865 to $40.190 million, with net income jumping from 2005's loss of $1.090 million to a gain of $2.268. (-71 to +7 cents/share). $372,000. of 2005's income and $476,000. of 2006's income is due to "discontinued operations," namely the 24 stations in MONTANA and eastern WASHINGTON it is selling for $33.3 million.
The company's KOMO-TV/SEATTLE and KATU (TV)/PORTLAND accounted for about 51% of the company's year-to-date revenue from continuing operations.
