Rhode Island Radio Hall Of Fame To Induct Seven New Members

The RHODE ISLAND RADIO HALL OF FAME will induct seven new members in MAY. The ceremony will take place at an induction banquet on MAY 8th in LINCOLN, RI.
Among the new inductees will be CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WOR-A/NEW YORK PD TOM CUDDY, who started his career at WPRO-A/PROVIDENCE and served as PD at WPRO-A and WPRO-F; PROVIDENCE market veteran RICK EVERETT; RHODE ISLAND PUBLIC RADIO newsman and host DAVE FALLON; GREATER MEDIA Classic Hits WROR/BOSTON weekend host and NEW ENGLAND TECH professor PAUL PERRY; the late host and engineer CARROLL "PAPPY" PHILBROOK; programmer TONY RIZZINI; and longtime WADK-A/NEWPORT personality SAUCY SYLVIA.
The group will also honor longtime PROVIDENCE radio salesperson JANICE SKELLY with its SHEPARD Award and CUMULUS Top 40 WPRO-F/PROVIDENCE with its Broadcaster of the Year Award.
