KEVIN WEAVER has been promoted to the new position of SVP of ATLANTIC RECORDS, and will report directly to ATLANTIC Chairman/CEO CRAIG KALLMAN and Pres. JULIE GREENWALD. WEAVER, who is based at the company's LOS ANGELES office, most recently served as SVP/Strategic Marketing and Soundtracks for the company's LAVA division.
"It is our mission to get ATLANTIC music into as many places as possible," said GREENWALD, "and KEVIN is a master at identifying and developing great opportunities for our artists to be seen and heard. He is incredibly tenacious and has great relationships with the TV and film communities. CRAIG and I are happy to announce KEVIN's much-deserved new post with the ATLANTIC family."
"After ten years with WARNER MUSIC GROUP, I am pleased and excited to begin another chapter of my life working with CRAIG, JULIE, and LYOR [COHEN]," said WEAVER. "Their great passion for our business and their total commitment to artist development has infected me with more zeal and love for what I do. I look forward to working with them to open up new opportunities for our artists and their music."
