GOOD KARMA BROADCASTING Sports WKNR-A (ESPN 850)/CLEVELAND host and FOX affiliate WJW-TV/CLEVELAND sports anchor TONY RIZZO has pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct in his domestic violence case from DECEMBER 6th, reports the CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER.
The plea deal came before a trial that was scheduled for THURSDAY (3/27); RIZZO will be referred to the probation department before a sentencing hearing is scheduled.
RIZZO has been charged of misdemeanor domestic violence, but his wife CATHERINE RIZZO submitted an affidavit saying that she had initiated the incident by hitting her husband with a glass and asking that the charges be dropped, according to prosecutors.
