Tom Joyner's Voyage To Support HBCUs

The annual TOM JOYNER FOUNDATION FANTASTIC VOYAGE CRUISE pulled into port and successfully wrapped up its 15th year supporting students attending historically black colleges and universities. For eight days and seven nights, over 3,000 passengers on the CARNIVAL CONQUEST were entertained and informed.
The FOUNDATION also raised money and hosted art auctions on board to generate funds for scholarships and other initiatives to help keep students in HBCUs. Over the years THE TOM JOYNER FOUNDATION has assisted more than 20,000 students and raised more than $60 million for historically black colleges and universities.
The star-studded list of speakers and performers included TYLER PERRY, ROBIN THICKE, CHARLIE WILSON, GEORGE CLINTON, KATT WILLIAMS, NELLY, ICE CUBE, BOBBY BROWN, KEM, RALPH TRESVANT, CHANTE MOORE, JOHN LEGEND, JONNY GILL, DEREK J of the REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA, SLICK RICK, MELLE MEL, CHUBB ROCK, KWAME, DR. BOBBY JONES, ERICA CAMPBELL, WILLIE MOORE JR., VASHAWN MITCHELL, TOSHA COBBS, JAMES FORTUNE, DANA DANE, KURTIS BLOW and many others.
