Former Eagles Linebacker, Radio Host G. Cobb To Run For Congress

CBS RADIO Sports WIP-F/PHILADELPHIA football analyst and former weekend host GARRY COBB has announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for Congress in the First District of NEW JERSEY, reports WIP sister station News KYW-A.

COBB, a former PHILADELPHIA EAGLES linebacker familiarly known to fans in the DELAWARE VALLEY as "G. COBB," is running in the district long represented by ROB ANDREWS (D-NJ)., who resigned in FEBRUARY.  COBB told KYW, “One of the big problems with the GOP, I think, is they haven’t proven and let people know we care about people.  Well, I’m in the GOP and I care about people.”
