After a flurry of station sale and other activity on MONDAY, the FCC database quieted down for TUESDAY morning's list of filings, with a pair of Silent STA filings on tap.
NORFOLK (STATE UNIVERSITY) BOARD OF VISITORS has requested a Silent STA for noncommercial Urban WNSB (HOT 91.1)/NORFOLK, VA due to storm damage.
And CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. has filed for a Silent STA for W213BV/WHITE, GA because of an interference complaint.
New low power FM construction permits were granted to the VILLAGE OF ROCKFORD at ROCKFORD, OH and to GOLDEN WEST MEDIA at GALAX, VA.
And not yet in the FCC database, W & C BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of the construction permit for FM translator W252CZ/WAKE FOREST, NC to CURTIS MEDIA's EASTERN AIRWAVES, LLC for $100,000. BOB HEYMANN of MEDYA SERVICES GROUP represented the buyer in the deal.
