N.Y. Broadcasters Hall Of Fame To Induct Dr. John Cooper

CCM+E Classic Rock WPYX/ALBANY, NY middayer “DOCTOR” JOHN COOPER will be inducted into the NEW YORK STATE BROADCASTERS HALL OF FAME Class of 2014. The induction ceremony will take place at a special luncheon during the summer conference at the WALDORF ASTORIA on FRIDAY, JUNE 13th.
Doctor John has been broadcasting in NEW YORK STATE continuously for more than 40 years and can also be heard middays on weekends on sister Oldies WTRY. He has been with CCM+E/ALBANY since 2000, and is currently Regional Programming Manager for stations in ALBANY, POUGHKEEPSIE and SUSSEX, N.J.
"I'm honored to be recognized by the NEW YORK STATE BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION for my work in the industry over the years," said COOPER. "I have a passion for this industry and look forward to my continued contributions."
