WBZO Revamps Its Classic Hits Format

New Look

CONNOISSEUR MEDIA Oldies WBZO (B103)/LONG ISLAND, NY tweaks the format, with a Classic Hits presentation that drops the 60s music, and now focuses on "the '70s, '80s and More."

GM/Market Manager DAVE WIDMER tells ALL ACCESS, "While we know the changes we are making to B103 will make it an even better station for LONG ISLAND, these positive changes don’t come without difficult decisions."

Those decisions include a revamped lineup with PD BILL WISE moving from mornings to afternoons, while sidekick FRANK BRINKA exiting B103. Middayer JIM O'BRIEN sets his alarm clock early -- and moves to wakeups and JEN WYLDE joins for middays.

Longtime OM/afternooner KEITH ALLEN exits.
