KNOX INC. Country KSTN-A (THE BULL)/STOCKTON, which re-launched from Classic Country to mainstream with a simulcast on its 105.9 translator last month (NET NEWS 3/17), has begun staffing up with the addition of market vet JOHNNY MILFORD for afternoons, beginning MONDAY, APRIL 15th.
The move reunites MILFORD with BULL PD RANDY “BUBBA” BLACK; the two previously worked together at CUMULUS (then CITADEL) crosstown Country KATM/MODESTO.
“JOHNNY swore off radio many years ago to make some real money by doing the agency V/O thing," said BULL PD RANDY “BUBBA “BLACK. “He will go by the name 'JOHNNY STOCKTON.' The name fits. This guy is born-and-bred STOCKTONIAN. He is tied in deep to all things STOCKTON; he loves this city as I do and his passion is infectious.”
THE BULL kicked off 10,000 songs in a row upon its re-launch; that is set to conclude MONDAY (4/15), paving the way for STOCKTON’s return to the airwaves.
Congratulate STOCKTON here.
