WKQX’s Electric Playground Pays Tribute To Frankie Knuckles

CUMULUS Alternative WKQX (101WKQX)/CHICAGO's EDM specialty show, "ELECTRIC PLAYGROUND," will be airing a special version of the show, honoring the late FRANKIE KNUCKLES who passed a couple weeks ago (NET NEWS 4/1).
From 10p-4a on SATURDAY, APRIL 12th will be rare and unreleased sets from the Godfather himself, along with tribute mixes from GRAMMY AWARD WINNER, and FRANKIE's label-mate, DAVID MORALES, as well as the station’s own resident DJs. Plus, special interview clips and a one-on-one with the creator and owner of the legendary WAREHOUSE nightclub, the place that launched FRANKIE's distinguished career and gave House music its name.
The show will include FRANKIE KNUCKLES last recorded live set from VAGABOND in MIAMI on 3/22/14.
