CBS Pres./CEO Les Moonves Took Home Close To $67 Million In 2013

In a Schedule 14A filing with the SEC, CBS has unveiled amoong other things, its executive compensation.
Pres./CEO LES MOONVES took home $66.9 million and Exec. Chairman/Founder SUMNER REDSTONE made $57.2 million. Those salaries haven't changed much between 2011 and 2013, but the way they got to the total number did.
In 2011 MOONVES' stock options were worth a potential $27.3 million. In 2013, that figure fell to to $5.8 million. However, his “stock awards” rose from $8.5 million to $26.5 million in that period. Those stock numbers, along with a base salary of $3.5 million, a bonus of $28.5 million, and other parts of his package, added up to $66.9 million.
COO JOE IANIELLO saw his 2013 compensation rise to $24.5 million. That figure included large hikes in stock options and stock awards.
