The 13th annual NON-COMMVENTION returns again to PHILADELPHIA MAY 14th-16th.  All the meetings and music will be held at the WXPN building, which also houses the WORLD CAFE LIVE venue.

The first wave of performers have been announced: they include COUNTING CROWS, THE HOLD STEADY, PUSS N BOOTS (FEATURING NORAH JONES), HAIM, ELBOW, THE BOTH, AFGHAN WHIGS, IAN MCLAGAN, HOZIER, BELLE BRIGADE, CHET FAKER, HOORAY FOR THE RIFF RAFF, WILD CUB, ASGEIR, JESSICA LEA MAYFIELD and BENJAMIN BOOKER.

Once again, SONGLINES is hosting the Music Meeting at the NONCOMMVENTION. This year’s meeting will take place on FRIDAY, MAY 16th.  SEAN COAKLEY AND MELANIE SHRAWDER will be hosting the event.  They are currently accepting song submissions and will do so until MAY 9th.

The host hotel is the SHERIDAN UNIVERSITY CENTER.

The granddaddy of them all, The FMQB TRIPLE A CONFERENCE celebrates 22 years in 2014.  The event will again be held in BOULDER, CO at the ST. JULIEN HOTEL & SPA AUGUST 6th-9th.

ALPHA BROADCASTING’s LARRY WILSON has been announced as the keynote on WEDNESDAY afternoon.
