NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO Acting Director of Training SORA NEWMAN has exited the network effective APRIL 11th to form her own company, reports CURRENT.ORG.
NEWMAN trained hosts and reporters at the network. She joined NPR in 1982 and told CURRENT that at her new business, CLEAR AND PRESENT COMMUNICATION, she plans "to work with public radio stations, nonprofits with bad podcasts, or corporate executives that can’t give a decent speech. The goal is to develop a strong, clear and engaging message and to improve performance and presentation skills to effectively deliver that message."
