AVERAGE JOES ENTERTAINMENT (AJE) WEST COAST regional GWEN FOSTER and MIDWEST rep JOE SCHULD will be exiting the label effective FRIDAY, MAY 9th, part of the company’s shift in focus as it relates to radio promotion.
“We’ll still work with radio,” says company VP TONY MORREALE, who hinted at soon-to-be announced releases and upcoming projects. “This is really a return to what AVERAGE JOES has always been about, however, we won’t do it with a full radio promo team, but rather on a market-by-market basis.”
FOSTER joined AVERAGE JOES nearly four years ago after a long career in radio that included stops at CBS RADIO Country KMLE/PHOENIX and CLEAR CHANNEL crosstown Country KNIX. Reach her here.
SCHULD is a promo vet whose experience includes a background in artist management. He is currently handling GUNNAR & THE GRIZZLY BEARS, whose “Standard American” song will be included on AVERAGE JOES “Mud Digger 5,” set for a MAY 20th release.

Concurrently, MORREALE tells ALL ACCESS AJE SOUTHEAST/NORTHEAST rep WIX WICHMAN will add responsibilities designed to take advantage of his diverse skill sets, which include writing, comedy and TV.
