GOOD KARMA BROADCASTING Sports WKNR-A (ESPN 850)/CLEVELAND host and FOX affiliate WJW-TV/CLEVELAND sports anchor TONY RIZZO was sentenced to 30 days in jail for misdemeanor "persistent disorderly conduct," but will not serve any additional time because Judge DALE CHASE suspended 27 days and gave RIZZO credit for 3 days in jail, reports WJW-TV. RIZZO was also placed on probation and will pay a $250 fine and court costs.
RIZZO pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct in his domestic violence case from DECEMBER 6th. A police report from MEDINA, OH said that RIZZO's wife told the dispatcher that RIZZO was "hurting" her and she had been choked and hit in the face, but changed her story after RIZZO's arrest and said that she had hit him with a glass and he was defending himself.
