KWQW/Des Moines Rebrands As 'The Torch' With New Lineup

CUMULUS Talk KWQW (WOW-FM)/DES MOINES has rebranded as 98.3 THE TORCH, COMMON SENSE RADIO.

Among changes in the lineup noted by RADIO INSIGHT, new PD ROBERT REES is hosting 5-9a (CT) weekdays, with PREMIERE's GLENN BECK added for 9-11a and WESTWOODONE's DENNIS MILLER (moving from CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KASI-A/AMES) on for 11a-2p.  CUMULUS sister WMAL-A-F/WASHINGTON host CHRIS PLANTE and WESTWOODONE's HERMAN CAIN have come off the schedule.

The station also has a new news partnership with ABC affiliate WOI-TV (ABC 5).
