SHAMROCK COMMUNICATIONS Alternative WFUZ (FUZZ 92.1)/WILKES BARRE-SCRANTON has announced "FUZZ FEST 2014" headlined by CAGE THE ELEPHANT. The 2nd annual concert event will take place at THE PAVILION AT MONTAGE MOUNTAIN on SUNDAY, JUNE 22nd. Also performing will be KONGOS, SKATERS, BRICK + MORTAR, NORTHERN FACES, and local act GRACES DOWNFALL, with more artists to be announced soon.
In just the first three days, the first 921 tickets were sold for $9.21. Tickets for FUZZ FEST are currently on sale for just $18.
"We're so thrilled the be able to bring a band of CAGE THE ELEPHANT's caliber to NEPA," said FUZZ 92.1 PD TOM FERGUSON. "They're a premiere band in the alternative landscape, with rock credibility and a great reputation as a live act."
FERGUSON added, "Getting KONGOS was a priority for the station. The band has had the #1 song in alternative rock during the last two weeks and is one of the biggest bands in the format. Combine that with great supporting acts, an affordable ticket, and the gorgeous setting at the Pavilion, and we have a day-long event that will become a staple in NEPA."
