MEDIA LATINO COMMUNICATIONS and ENTRAVISION COMMUNICATIONS have agreed to jointly produce and syndicate the midday show, “El Pajarete con Armida y La Flaka”. As part of this agreement the program began airing on ENTRAVISION’s Tricolor stations in DENVER and ASPEN CO, EL CENTRO, SACRAMENTO, MODESTO, MONTEREY-SALINAS and STOCKTON CA, RENO and LAS VEGAS NV, EL PASO and LUBBOCK TX and PHOENIX, AZ beginning APRIL 15th.
“Our show has a lot of chemistry and personality, and I am proud to be part of this team,” said LA FLAKA. “It is our intention to build upon our success and bring a first rate show to our listeners across our markets. ARMIDA is a lot of fun to work with and we are not only professional colleagues, but friends as well which brings an additional element of surprise and fun. We are very grateful to be part of this awesome show, and welcome the opportunity to interact with the community in such a meaningful way.”
“We work hard to entertain and inform our listeners and truly enjoy every minute of it,” said ARMIDA. ”We love what we do, and we love our audience which makes for a terrific show. LA FLAKA is like a sister to me, and I love that we can interact with a lot of energy. We each have our own opinions and different personalities, which provides for some interesting discussions as we both bring something special to the party. Our show has a lot of fun, jokes, antics, listener participation, and current events. It is very entertaining!”
“ARMIDA and LA FLAKA have a wonderful chemistry that has been very popular with all of their audiences across the country. The show is topical and timely, and if there is a big news story, they’re on top of it with their own unique perspective,” said MEDIA LATINO COMMUNICATIONS COO CARLOS MONCADA. “They also play the best in Mexican Regional music, which is embraced by their audiences. It is very gratifying to be working with ENTRAVISION on this project and bringing such a unique radio program to the U.S. Latino market.”
