James Howard Named WBIG PD; Kenny King PD Of WASH, WQSR

CLEAR CHANNEL MEDIA + ENTERTAINMENT/WASHINGTON, D.C.-BALTIMORE announced today that JAMES HOWARD has been named PD of Classic Rock WBIG (BIG 100.3)/WASHINGTON, D.C. and KENNY KING has been named PD of AC WASH/WASHINGTON, D.C. and Adult Hits WQSR (JACK-FM)/BALTIMORE, effective immediately.
While programming BIG 100.3, HOWARD will also continue to program WWDC (DC101). He began his radio career with CLEAR CHANNEL in 2001 and since then has made stops in ORLANDO, ALBANY, ATLANTA and TAMPA, joining the WASHINGTON, D.C./BALTIMORE market in 2010. Most recently, he programmed WWDC and WQSR.
"WBIG is such an exciting opportunity," said HOWARD. "I couldn't be more thrilled."
KING is has been on-air and in programming for more than 27 years in markets like WASHINGTON, D.C.; PITTSBURGH; and CHARLESTON, S.C. He has worked in the WASHINGTON, D.C. market for nearly 15 years in a variety of roles including OM and PD at WRQX, WJZW and WVRX, where he developed on-air and digital brands for a variety of formats.
