Two Radio People Win Nieman Fellowships

The 77th class of NIEMAN Fellows has been announced by the NIEMAN FOUNDATION FOR JOURNALISM at HARVARD UNIVERSITY. Winners will study at HARVARD for the 2014-15 academic year.
Radio winners of the prestigious fellowships include LOUISVILLE PUBLIC MEDIA noncommercial News-Talk WFPL/LOUISVILLE Dir./News and Editorial Strategy GABE BULLARD, who will study the changing perceptions of American history in politics and culture, and NPR "MORNING EDITION" Supervising Sr. Editor KITTY EISELE, who "will examine the ways in which news is visualized, what that means for radio, and how digital storytelling is shaping the way we see news," as well as slavery in the U.S. and aging in visual culture.
