PREMIERE NETWORKS' RUSH LIMBAUGH has selected three schools for $15,000 grants, and the first to receive the money from the "RUSH To Your School" essay contest is HAWKINS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in ROGERSVILLE, TN.
The school received the check and several thousand dollars' worth of books from the LIMBAUGHS last week.
Principal BARRY BELLAMY told the ROGERSVILLE REVIEW, "What can I say? This is one of the largest gifts this school has ever received." First grade teacher DANEE COLLETT wrote the winning essay, which had to be cut down to meet the contest's 500 character limit.
The contest was held in conjunction with the release of LIMBAUGH's children's book "RUSH REVERE AND THE BRAVE PILGRIMS."
