Lyme Disease Awareness PSAs Available For Radio

With MAY being Lyme Disease Awareness Month, the NATIONAL CAPITAL LYME DISEASE ASSOCATION have created PSAs for radio to alert its listeners to the dangers of Lyme disease. the fastest growing disease in the U.S. The CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL (CDC) report 300,000 confirmed diagnoses each year, 10 times more than previously reported.

It can be a debilitating disease if not caught and treated early.  With Spring in full bloom and Summer coming fast, it is extremely important that listeners educate themselves on the tick-borne diseases as they venture out-of-doors.
