Suspect Arrested In Scotty McCreery Home Invasion

A suspect has been arrested in the home invasion and robbery of INTERSCOPE/19/MERCURY NASHVILLE’s SCOTTY McCREERY (NET NEWS 5/5).

On MONDAY, three men forced entry into an apartment near NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY, where McCREERY attends school. Investigators say that the robbers forced SCOTTY and three friends to lie face down at gunpoint, while making off with cell phones, wallets and electronics.

MIKKAIL JAMAL SHAW of RALEIGH turned himself in and is currently being held on $375,000 bond. He is scheduled make a court appearance this afternoon. The investigation continues with officers still searching for two more suspects.
