UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS, INC (USRN) and THE 29GROUP have created a new weekend show for Country radio stations called "REDCUP COUNTRY."
"REDCUP COUNTRY" is a five-hour weekly show designed to reflect the energy and vibe of the weekend lifestyle of today's Country music audience. The program is primarily intended to be broadcast on FRIDAY or SATURDAY nights, and features “REDCUP KARAOKE” where Country artists and listeners can request their favorite party songs; as well as "MASHVILLE MINI-MIXES," a 10-minute club-style blend of Country songs.
“Country radio needed a dynamic show for weekend nights that captures the vibe and energy of today’s music,” said THE 29GROUP founder KEITH CLARK. “Programmers have been looking for a show that is fresh, fun and tech-savvy for the connected audience. ‘REDCUP COUNTRY’ delivers it all with a music mix you might hear at a tailgate party or a local club. It’s the perfect program for stations looking for a multi-dimensional party with requests, shout outs, artist-driven music features and some ‘mix’ segments without turning the station into a rave for five hours.”
