SPERO DEDES is exiting as radio play-by-play voice of the NEW YORK KNICKS, reports the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS.
DEDES joined the KNICKS in 2011 from the LOS ANGELES LAKERS, and has been increasing his national work on television for CBS SPORTS, calling NFL and college football and college basketball. His contract with MSG NETWORK, which produces the games for broadcast on ESPN RADIO Sports WEPN-F (ESPN NEW YORK 98.7FM)/NEW YORK, expired after the 2013-14 season and was not renewed.
