In a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is buying Classic Rock KURK (92.9 THE BANDIT)/RENO from WILKS BROADCASTING for $1.25 million. MICHAEL J. BERGNER of BERNGER AND CO. served as exclusive broker for the deal.
In a deal filed with the FCC, CAP COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is selling Adult Standards WSAT-A (MEMORIES 1280)/SALISBURY, NC to WILLIAM MARC GRAHAM's 2B PRODUCTIONS, LLC for $600,000 ($376,000 of it in a promissory note).
In another filing with the FCC, LYLE E. DODGE is selling K298BR/WENATCHEE, WA to VINCENT SHIFLET for $10,000.
And the Commission approved the change in community of license of CBS RADIO Regional Mexican WLZL (EL ZOL 107.9)/WASHINGTON from ANNAPOLIS to COLLEGE PARK, MD, putting the station in the WASHINGTON metro with no transmitter location change.
Low power FM construction permits were granted to APPALACHIAN MEDIA OUTREACH at RENFRO VALLEY, KY and OWL LEARNING CENTER at PITTSBURG, TX.
