CUMULUS RADIO NETWORKS is merging of some of its 24-hour formats. The formats where the company had two versions -- AC, Hot AC, Classic Rock, Classic Hits and Mainstream Country -- will now have just one product. While the consolidated formats will have larger staffs, around 10 full-time and a number of part-time positions have been eliminated.
Operations at the other three CRN formats and six WESTWOODONE formats remain essentially unchanged. CRN is now reaching out to its affiliates about the staff changes as well as new clocks.
The following employees are said to be impacted: RON CHAVIS, CHARLIE DEREK, JOHNNY WOLFE, STEVEN EVERHART, ALAN KEITH, SCOTT REESE, SHERRY ROGERS, KIM STEWART, DEBBIE DOUGLAS, CHAZ MIXON, KRIS WILSON and STEVE GUNN.
Some of these people have been offered part-time positions. ALL ACCESS will post contact information for those who have been downsized. Reach out to us here.
