PARAGON MEDIA STRATEGIES, in conjunction with ALL ACCESS, recently completed a nationwide study of radio covering a wide variety of topics related to morning radio listening habits. While the full report will be be presented tomorrow afternoon as part of the MORNING SHOW BOOTCAMP currently taking place in CHICAGO, key finding from the report include:
"In selecting your choice of a radio station, how important is the morning show?"
-- Very important (30%)
-- Somewhat important (51%)
-- Someone inimportant(12%)
-- Not important at all (5%)
-- No opinion (2%)"If your favorite morning show moved to another station in the area, would you be 'very likely,' 'somewhat likely,' 'not likely,' or 'don't know/no opinion'?

-- Don't know/no opinion (9%)"In general, do you think that morning radio between the hours of 6a-8a weekdays has gotten better or worse than 5 years ago?"
