KYZZ Debuts As Z-Country

MT. WILSON BROADCASTERS’ Classical Music KMZT/SALINAS, CA has flipped to Country, changing its call letters to KYZZ (Z-COUNTRY 97.9) and debuting with 10,000 commercial-free songs in a row.
KMZT’s Classical Music format will continue on the company’s co-owned 95.1 frequency, which was previously simulcast on 97.9.
Z-COUNTRY will serve the SALINAS VALLEY, MONTEREY and SANTA CRUZ making it the second Country outlet for MT. WILSON BROADCASTERS, which also owns and operates KKGO (GO COUNTRY 105.1)/LOS ANGELES.
MT. WILSON BROADCASTERS owner SAUL LEVINE tells ALL ACCESS staff announcements will be made after the station completes it's 10,000-song promise.
