LOS ANGELES TIMES entertainment reporter and SANTA MONICA COLLEGE noncommercial Triple A-News-Talk KCRW/SANTA MONICA-LOS ANGELES "THE BUSINESS" contributor JOHN HORN is leaving the paper after 12 years to join SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PUBLIC RADIO noncommercial News-Talk KPCC/PASADENA-LOS ANGELES to host the station's new daily entertainment and culture show.
SCPR VP/Content RUSS STANTON said, “We are thrilled to have a journalist of JOHN’s caliber coming aboard to be the voice of our expanded arts and entertainment coverage. Our listeners are in for a real treat.“
HORN wrote for NEWSWEEK, PREMIERE MAGAZINE, the AP, and the ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER before joining the TIMES. LA OBSERVED reports that HORN's new show will be produced by KPCC's OSCAR GARZA as Senior Producer, and KCRW "THE BUSINESS" producer DARBY MALONEY is moving to KPCC as Arts and Entertainment Editor starting in mid-JUNE.
