Amidst rumors of changes at CBS RADIO Top 40 WNOW (92.3 NOW)/NEW YORK, wakeup man TY BENTLI, afternoon host ZANN, late night goddess EUTOPIA and morning show Associate Producer BRYAN CARSTENSEN have announced their departures.
BENTLI told ALL ACCESS, "I think 92.3 is making a really solid move, and it sounds like they are going to push very hard to build awareness in this market. The TY BENTLI in the Morning team delivered ratings growth in NEW YORK CITY with each strategy-change that was requested as the station was finding its identity. Now that we have some answers on the next incarnation of what is happening here in NEW YORK, and with my contract almost expired, it seems like a perfect time for me to strike while the iron is hot. I am ridiculously excited about a couple of opportunities that are in front of us, and looking forward to a high-profile platform that allows us to showcase how much fun we can have in the morning!"

"Thank you so much to CBS RADIO for investing so much into me, including, MICHAEL MARTIN, DONNY B, RICK THOMAS and of course GILLETTE, whose spirit still shines through the halls, ZANN said in a statement. "I will never forget any of you and know our relationship will go far past this gig. Shout-out to HOT, POWER, Z and KTU for making me really work for it. Much respect to them and of course the family that remains. Never stop believing in your talent. I will truly miss smiling with you everyday. As for me, I'm a dedicated worker who loves radio and loves to get the job done. I will do anything to win. I also love short walks on the beach. I'm going to take a long nap and hopefully wake up to some e-mails from people whowant to chat. And lastly, if in BAYONNE, leave it alone."

ROSIE NOESI tells ALL ACCESS, "I would like to thank CBS for letting my voice ride their radio waves through THE TRI-STATE for the weekday morning drive. I was brought into 92.3 NOW by ROBERT WAGMAN. I met him in JANUARY 2010, and he was kind enough to give me a shot even though I had been in television -- not radio -- for seven years at that point. I fell in love with radio like a cheerleader falls for the captain of the football team. I was enamored with the fact that there was an immediate connection with our audience. With that said, I started this year co-hosting the morning show with TY BENTLI and it was an experience of a lifetime. I learned so much about myself and grew tremendously in a short amount of time. I would also like to thank Michael Martin for his inspiration and dedication to make the station the best it should be, it was a pleasure working with you! RICK THOMAS, it was nice to almost get to know you and hopefully could work together in the future. A passion and fire has been ignited in me and I am dedicated to being the best in this world of radio. I am committed to taking my craft to the next level so this isn’t good bye but more like a see you later.

EUTOPIA told ALL ACCESS, "I'm extremely grateful for my time at WNOW 923 NOW. Working there not only allowed me to do radio in my home town, I also grew tremendously as a professional and person. Plus -- I also got a chance to work with and become friends with some of the most fantastic people on earth. Thanks to DOM THEODORE and ROB WAGMAN for taking a risk on me and bringing me into WNOW. Love you two to pieces! I'm super excited to see where I land next. Let the journey begin."

Thank you to CBS, MICHAEL MARTIN and all of my morning show family," CARSTENSEN said. "Our relationships extend far from outside the studio. Hopefully we get the chance to rock it again! It’s been one heck of a ride over the past three years in which I’ve been working for 92.3NOW in NYC. Thank you to DOM THEODORE, WILL CALDER and ROBERT WAGMAN for allowing a small guy from WISCONSIN to answer phones in a #1 market’s morning show. Special thanks to GILLETTE, TY BENTLI and CBS for putting their trust in me to flirt with women through food on Breakfast With BRYAN. My boyfriend sent me jealous texts daily!
"Another city, another experience, and I am down for anything life has to offer, " he concluded. "Looking for that next gig. You can reach me via e-mail at bry1385@gmail.com.
