Shane Drasin To Receive ASCAP Award For His Music For BET Television

BENZTOWN in-house composer SHANE DRASIN will be honored at the AMERICAN SOCIETY OF COMPOSERS, AUTHORS & PUBLISHERS’ 29th Annual Film and Television Music Awards for his original music from BET’s "Real Husbands of Hollywood." The awards ceremony will take place on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25th, at the Beverly Hilton International Ballroom in LOS ANGELES.

DRASIN wrote, performed and produced “Welcome to Hollywood”, the award-winning theme song for the series. Real Husbands of Hollywood is a comedy reality television parody starring KEVIN HART, JB SMOOVE, NELLY, BORIS KODJOE, NICK CANNON and DUANE MARTIN.

The show airs TUESDAYS at 9p (CT)/10p (ET) on BET.
