CBS RADIO Sports WIP/PHILADELPHIA and local sports bar/restaurant CHICKIE’S AND PETE’S will kick off MEMORIAL DAY weekend by offering a “toll-free” ride on the ATLANTIC CITY EXPRESSWAY for families headed to the JERSEY SHORE. They, along with the SOUTH JERSEY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY, will kick off a special “100 Days of Summer” promotion on FRIDAY, MAY 23rd at the FRANK S. The event will feature giveaways, special guests, free food, and safety demonstrations by several NEW JERSEY transportation agencies to ensure a safe and memorable summer at the shore. SportsRadio 94 WIP’s ANTHONY GARGANO and ROB ELLIS will broadcast live from the FARLEY SERVICE PLAZA from 1-6p. The KYW NEWSRADIO KIDCAST MOBILE STUDIO will be on-site from noon-6p, giving kids a chance to be a KYW News Anchor.
As part of the promotion, CHICKIE’S AND PETE’S will pay all eastbound tolls on the AC Expressway at the EGG HARBOR TOLL PLAZA from 5-6p. “This is just another way of saying thank you to our loyal guests who have been so good to us throughout the years,” CHICKIE’S AND PETE Pres./CEO PETE CIARROCCHI said.
