UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS, INC. (USRN) has agreed to sell national network commercial time for content distribution provider MR. MASTER. The announcement comes as MR. MASTER has expanded the abilities of its MediaShooterPro software with an automated end-to-end solution called Automation Import Manager or “AIM.”
With their AIM application, radio stations can place their national programs and barter spots into their automation system automatically. It will also reconcile and post the exact air times of the content back into the network provider’s traffic system. AIM saves hours of hands-on labor for radio station production and traffic personnel, and this new agreement between MR.MASTER and USRN allows for AIM to be available on a barter basis with USRN handling the national ad sales.
MR. MASTER’s staff will handle the affiliate marketing and delivery of the company’s services while USRN will market the company’s commercial time to national advertisers.
“[MR. MASTER Pres.] STU JACOBS and the team at MR. MASTER have identified a need at radio stations and developed the technology to meet that need in way that also saves stations money and time, two very valuable assets to management," USRN Pres./COO JIM HIGGINS said. "These services, along with STU’s staff which includes VP MARIA LAING, are so valuable to local operators that we look forward to adding a number of quality radio stations to the networks that we can offer to our marketing partners.”
“The team at UNITED STATIONS has been working with us for years, and their understanding of our role in the distribution chain makes them a perfect partner for us," STU JACOBS said.
