Chicago Urban Stations 'Put The Guns Down' Simulcast Special

CHICAGO's Urban Stations will come together this SUNDAY night JUNE 1st for its first two-hour group simulcast, "SUNDAY NIGHT OPEN MIC," special to address the citywide violence prevention initiative, "PUT THE GUNS DOWN," reports CCM+E.
The commercial free broadcast will be 7-9p and feature a talent from each of the participating stations. TONY SCULFIELD/WGCI (107.5), FRANKIE ROBINSON/WPWX (POWER 92), MIKE LOVE/WSRB (106.3), JOE SOTO/WVAZ (V103) and MATT McGILL/WVON (1690a).
The radio special will be hosted by ABC 7's EVELYN HOLMES and include special guest Exec. Dir. of K.L.E.O. COMMUNITY FAMILY LIFE CENTER, TORREY BARRETT.
The group will have a conversation and take calls from listeners to share their experiences and offer solutions to gun violence in the community. This will be the first of four group simulcasts to take place this year.
